Going into the series: Brewers 2nd best offense in NL: 2 runs in 3 Gms Brewers only other team (besides Philly) never been swept this season: Swept Observation: Phillies pitching and Defense (especially this series) looks elite. The fact that Phillies scored 5 runs in the series and are slumping offensively but still won all 3 games should absolutely petrify teams

@@BigBillyWilly12 As someone who has missed fewer games than I can count on 1 hand this year, I see both of y'all's points. He did also have a somewhat errant throw today that was saved by Bryce making an athletic play to tag the runner (I think Rhys?) and he has had a few games where he's played badly defensively (I think he had like 3 errors in 1 game in the last couple weeks), but he's also made some awesome plays and has improved tremendously at his position since the "I fkin hate this place" days.

Nola was on his game. Stubbs calls another good game. Another low offense outing from the Phillies. Fish 'n Chips time for the Fightin's. Another nice ovation for Rhys. Stott is looking as solid in the field as Pedroia was for the Bosox back in the day. Nick had a nice easy swing on his dinger, hopefully he keeps it going.

Gotta give it to the Brewers. They tried really hard to not get swept and tried really hard to get a single win this series. But the Phils just stomped 'em out with their defense and pitching every game.
