I made an Oviya deck recently and I decided to make it a land animate deck to get those creatures numbers up quick. I just loaded the deck up with a bunch of ramp and then toss down a land animation enchantment and suddenly i've got like 20 creatures. all the lands also helps pay for the steep costs of Oviya's activation cost.

so i just realized after making the video that evolving door works great in the deck because you can sac your colorless tokens to get any creature in your deck.

@@edhdeckbuilding I have it in mine but haven't used it yet. I also find seedborn muse effects are needed to really make the deck do splashy things.

Dreadhorde Invasion is great in a Fain deck! Since que amass tokens have +1/+1 counters, you can sacrifice it to put two counters on something else or just remove the counter from it to create a Treasure token and still activate all the death triggers

Definitely want Seedborn Muse in that green deck! Does double duty untapping the commander and giving you the mana to dump into her.

I built Oviya years ago after finding them in a bulk bin, and it's my favorite mono-green commander ever! I'm actually rebuilding it with janky token makers and just jammin the board and swinging out .

Marionette Master feels like a perfect win condition for Fain. Fain can power up Marionette Master so she deals more damage, and he's making treasures to fuel the damage

Hey Demo, would you want to do a deck tech on a PDH deck? I've been wanting to build one around vizkopa guildmage and thought the interaction with Gray merchant of asphodel was really cool. Very little coverage on the format and it could open up a whole lot of other video ideas.

Yes, I play stax with him. Only problem is that sometimes I lack the power to close out games, especially when only players left are me and an aggro player.

I would love to see your take on a Bartel Runaxe deck. I think it’s interesting that he can’t be targeted by auras but he has vigilance. I’ve always been a big fan of the super old commanders and I’d love to see how you’d build it.

I believe that's the other Heliod, the Sun Crowned. He is very well known for an infinite combo

i've never seen a heliod deck in my 7 years of playing this format. and 4 mana make a 2/1 doesn't seem great. if cedh players figured something out, good for them, but in casual commander nobody plays it.

Fain, the Broker just goes infinite with itself if you have infinite mana… then you just have a Blood Artist or something.

@@donovanloreman Currently only three or four of the top 20 commanders do anything that benefits from sacrificing.
