So jealous of that brew setup!! Got the Brutus 10 plans a year ago but I've decided to learn to TIG weld so I can assemble it myself so I'm probably a year away from starting to build it. Your Brewery looks awesome!!

Love it! and nice touch with the Leinies glass, i grew up in Chippewa Falls, and now i homebrew in Florida over a fire pit in the back yard. So far, so great.

Sounds like what you're brewing at 1.075 is the #3 Burton ale. The 1890's precursor to pale ale as we know it now. It was the #1 Burton, the barlewine, toned down a bit for changing pallets. I brewed it out of extracts & hops. Had to get creative, but it turned out pretty good. Def more cow bell next time! :)

Sorry no online plans. I used Lonnie's plans from BYO looked at his set up and modified it a bit. Funny thing is I had my power switch upside down. When I thought I turned it on nothing happened. I almost blew a gasket! Flipped it off and Disco...everything lit up and hummed!

Mega. I can't find the exact order number in my notes. Try to size up based on your elbow or tee. I had to grind down the outer coating on my temp probe so it would fit into the thermowell though. Hope that helps. Send pics of your system.

Mega- That sparge arm is called LocLine. I purchased mine from their website locline.com. Just so I understand your question about the temp probes. Are you referring to where I plug them into my control panel or where they are dropped in the Mash Tun and HLT through the lid?

Well, that depends on your state and the level of enforcement. Generally speaking, you can brew a lot of beer without a license but you can NOT sell the beer. You can't even trade the beer for favors, etc. Of course, enforcement of these laws are lax, but I wouldn't recommend selling or trading for any reason. There are "other ways" to get payback. Brew Strong.
