The other advantage is they can negotiate better deals for members of the single market as they have a consumer base of 500 million. So you have tariff free access to the 27 other members and better rates with those outside of europe. What we are saying is the UK can negotiate better deals than the Eu with our 75 million customers. Apart from the sheer logistical problem of negotiating desperate deals with each country (if we don't want wto tariffs) we also are left with 3rd world countries to deal with, who haven't got the high standards for food and goods we have become accustomed to. It makes absolutely no sense, but then it wasn't about economics for you was it

If there is no deal and that is looming as a possibility then all bets will be off. There is no sense ignoring this reality. The British team is composed of a group of amateurs and now they are being led around by the nose by the DUP in the case of the Irish border.

Well when all is said and done and the UK economy suffers, they will blame it on the usual scapegoat ie. the Irish. They will be to blame, it will all be their fault if something goes wrong.
