Great tech! I have most of these combos in my own Breya deck! Quick correction, you can tap Grand Architect (or any other blue creature that has summoning sickness) to activate its ability the same turn it enters, because the ability doesn't actually include the tap symbol. So if you get the Pili-Pala Grand Architect combo online, you can potentially win the game that turn :) One other thing, Myr Battlesphere + Nim Deathmantle + Time Sieve is also a potential infinite turn combo as long as you have four mana each turn to pay for the Nim Deathmantle trigger and recur the Battlesphere. Though this combo requires more cards than the Thopter Assembly version, you don’t have to worry about clearing Breya‘s thopters from the battlefield beforehand and you don’t have to wait until your next upkeep to trigger the Assembly.

Very good video! Also, Grand Architect can also be used on the Nim Deathmantle combo and the Sword of the Meek + Thopter foundry (instead of ashnod altar/KCI)

I built a Combo Breya Deck with no Tutors. NO TUTORS! There are so many combos that interlock I had to create an Excel Sheet just to cover them all. I play this deck if I am being targeted and I call it “Its a Matter of Time.”

Hm, this "budget build" really needs Gaia's cradle and Black Lotus to be viable, yes this "budget build". I had to change a few lands around to make it a bit more budget friendly for me but even then this is my most expensive deck buy Sadge . The combos better be nutty.

What do you think of having Zirda in there? You would have to cut out a lot of good cards to have him as the companion, but do you think the value he brings would be worth it? It would make her ability cost 1.

You don't really even need him as a companion, you can just have him as one of the 99, but he definitely smooths out the activation costs if you're worried about them. Plus actual win cons in the deck are triggered abilities unless you're strictly going for the bolt with Breya strategy.

Hey Crimson! Great question, it’s definitely a confusing interaction, but it works. The “opponent gaining control” part of the Talisman’s effect is not a cost, but a part of the effect, which means if the talisman isn’t legal when it resolves, it just ignores that bit. If an opponent gaining control were part of the cost, then yes, you’d have to give it away before the effect could happen. So you activate the talisman, and with its ability on the stack, sacrifice it to Breya. That ability is still on the sac and you carry out the tutor, ignoring the control swap bit. Bouncing the artifact or untapping it and activating it again work similarly. Let me know if you have any other questions, happy to clear things up!
