The unicorn ornament is a mini version Kathleen Moody’s porcelain Shire Mare with a new tail. The mini version was also a BF crystal. The original was one of the very first porcelains released & it was the second model in the Evolution of the Horse series which included the buckskin pinto Icelandic & mouse Dun Spanish Barb, which was also miniaturized as a unicorn ornament.

I’m basic this year, and Legend is my favorite! I can’t resist a good Georg, and we had so much fun meeting him at BreyerFest!

The artwork design on the Halloween model, Beowulf, were allegedly used without the artist’s knowledge or permission. If that’s true the model could be pulled. It’s also possible that the design could be changed. According to the VIN numbers on Spectre (4/23) & Maelstrom (5/22) & that dealers can’t order the Halloween model until the end of March, the Halloween models don’t go into production until Spring so there’s time to redesign it. It’s release might be delayed but at least we’d still get a Halloween horse this year. Beowulf is the only release that I was interested in getting. That may change if he’s redesigned.

I’m not sure about the name (the poem Beowulf has nothing to do with wolves, were- or otherwise) but there’s NO WAY I will be able to resist adding him to my herd! I love how dynamic he is! ❤

I'm hoping for more regular run stablemates or mini whinnies that aren't fantasy. I'm also hoping for better traditional molds cause they used old ones and extremely ugly ones so far.
