I just picked one of these up from my local Walmart Garden Center. It was my first time coming across one and I was in awe of how beautiful the variegation on the leaves was. Thanks for the great info!

Just picked up a very small one of these from my local nursery. It was branded as a small terrarium plant, but I wanna make sure I can care for it before I think about adding it to a terrarium. It’s doing well so far, I’m very happy! Thank you for this video :)

Ohh that’d be interesting, keeping it as a terrarium plant! It’s probably require regular trimming to keep it small.

Thanks for the info! I just found one of these in a San Diego nursery! I only bought one but wish I'd bought more, as they had both a pink and a white variety. I really hope we see these catch on as house plants - they're beautiful! Hoping I can keep mine thriving indoors in the desert!

We have had this plant for years and until today I never knew it's name.. I never fertilize it, I hardly water it but it is thriving.. however we do get a lot of rain and we are relatively humid.. thanks for the tips!!

Oh wow! That’s incredible! It must really love where you have it! I know in the summers when the humidity is higher mine does well too, has yours ever bloomed?

Still one of my favs! I love how delicate it is too, so many houseplants have these large, glossy leaves, it’s nice finding something little and delicate. haha

Thanks! They are one of the cooler plants to watch grow imo, the vines grow out first and then they get these tiny little leaves on them.

Thank you for the very informative video. I got this plant as a gift and I’m trying to figure out the environment it needs. My tiny plant seems to wilt very very quickly. I was watering it two times a week and when I water the water runs straight out of the drain holes. I wasn’t home for three days and when I got back I found the leaves to be crispy. They’re not wilted, not yellow/brown but look crispy. I watered it today. Should I repot? Please tell me what I should do to revive it. Thanks!

It is a pretty one! Probably the prettiest plant I own, haha. And thanks! The music was made to be a part of a soundtrack to accompany my fantasy board game, we wanted to add some ambiance players could play in the background while they played, haha.

I just picked this plant up a few weeks ago in my local nursery . I knew nothing about it when I bought it but I really thought it was so delicate and pretty . I live in Zone 5 so I’ve been pretty diligent about the watering and misting .So far so good! Thanks for the informative video!

I am so sorry for the sadness you experienced. I am still sad and lonesome for my Snow. I raised him from 6 months old and had to have him euthanized 13 years later. Still lost without him. He was my buddy and the only family I had. Thanks for responding to me and again I learned a lot from you about my new Snowbush.

Karen Heath I lost the dog that I grew up with in 2012, back when I was 23, and the grief from that lasted with my up until a couple years ago, so I know how difficult it can be, and how painful. BUT. the plants help, a little, they’re no pet, but the still bring me a lot of calm and peace!!

when you say you keep it in your westfacing window do you mean right up on the window sill? That sounds to me like it would scorch the leaves! I just got one and am currently keeping it in a bathroom with east facing window and an avg of 50% humidity, you think that will be enough o keep it alive?
@donnychen37894 жыл бұрын
And I agree it's definitely quite a rare species as I can seem to find too much care info on the web!
@michaeljohnhalse4 жыл бұрын
Donny Chen Yeah, that’s exactly where I keep it. Right in a west-facing window sill, I thought it would scorch it too! Seems too delicate for that kind of light, but it’s doing really well. I think it’d do fine in an easy facing window as well! I think it just needs somewhere where the light is bright.
@homebirding13083 жыл бұрын
How do you make it so white? Mine is mostly green :(
@michaeljohnhalse3 жыл бұрын
Oh interesting! I bought mine with a lot of white, but I’d think that giving it a lot of bright light would help promote more variegation.
