Thank you. I hope people realise that streaming and purchasing our music is our only income from this as we rarely tour so it's great to make all this happen but we need support.

Haunting sounds reaching across millennia. “The Celts are the race that God made mad: for all their wars are happy, and all their songs are sad.”

A song from a time when the Catholic mass was banned, and they assembled at rocks & on the hillsides for secret holy communion services. Did you go then to the grеy rocks And behind a wind-swept crevicе there Did you find our Mary gently waiting Our lady,sweet and fair? Did the sun shine brightly 'round her Making gold darts through her hair? And will you stay silent as the day When the wind has left the air? Oh, my Mary, long we wait here While the hunter combs the mountains high And the soft wind whispers "Guard her," Though as hunted we must die. Oh, the dawn is longtime coming And the long night clings with care But they shall not find with their chains to bind My Mary, pure and fair.

That is lore, not fact I believe. The song as presented here is a love song and and nothing more. I've heard stuff spouted about the valentine being the priest and "Rock" being a mass rock. But Carrig or Carrick is a name used for towns across Ireland. I would say, based on the text we used, this is not political. Usually political songs are overt and use specific imagery that is identifiable. Correct me if I am wrong and please site sources as I'm sure there are many questions. Oh - and your translation is completely incorrect.
@kukundrela12 күн бұрын
@@anunachoir May I ask you for the text you used? I'd love to be able to sing along to the exact lyrics. Thanks in advance.
@anunachoir12 күн бұрын
That will be available on the album release but you can find it online pretty easily. That made up Oirish translation is pretty offensive and propaganda
@kukundrela12 күн бұрын
@anunachoir Yeah, I don't believe in the propaganda ;) I would like to see the text you used, because online searches deliver slightly different texts. I'll see it at the release then.

I might post it here

Why don’t they put Caitriona’s name in the title like they do with the other singers?
@anunachoir12 күн бұрын
Her name is on the video itself. Based on our stats people don't bother either looking at the title nor reading the information under it. Don't worry - we will be removing all text names on videos on KZbin asap. Thanks for reminding us.
@anunachoir12 күн бұрын
Done - thank you. Now there is no inequity - you are brilliant!

We've kept solos on the Systir videos and the solo videos. Thanks again.
@Lex_Lugar8 күн бұрын
@@anunachoirMy bad. I worded that a little more aggressively than I should. I thoroughly enjoyed the production. Good work.
@anunachoir7 күн бұрын
Not at all. Singers are always credited. There is the odd idea that the soloist is the most important person in a vocal ensemble piece. The fact is that soloists are greatly enhanced by the sound of ANÚNA, something that is rarely acknowledged. But that is the way of the world.
