That part about "quitting for a bit" hit me hard. I have been putting off learning for over 6 weeks due to a lack of motivation. thanks for this motivation.

Perfect advice my friend! Every youth needs to hear this! And pretty much everyone in their twenties.

This video is on time, B! I have to figure out how to do this while taking on a 2nd job on top of a full time.

How's it working out?

@CantIllaoiThat It's still a work in progress but I'm putting time over other things. I remain optimistic though. It's a marathon not a sprint.

I wanted to know if you how did you pass technical interviews. Coming from a non technical background, LeetCode probably was intimidating for you and very challenging so how did you overcome this?

What course/content did you use to learn how to code?

Brian I have a question, when you started to look for a job as a developer, did you quick from the other jobs? I mean, were you using all your time when you were searching? Also thanks for your video, it was really good.
@brian-cache11 ай бұрын
Oh not at all! I would search for jobs during lunch or after work but I didn’t quit my job at the time

Brian I really want to know if getting even a intermediate level IT job after attending a bootcamp in highschool is realistic. My school has really been putting the notion that ‘attending this bootcamp will ready you for jobs’. I feel as if a fresh out of HS student wouldnt be on the radar for companies, what are your thoughts?
@brian-cache10 ай бұрын
Fresh out of HS would be tough. You might know a lot technically but they will doubt how professional/mature you are due to age.

I am going to teach myself to be a software engineer, i am going to become a RPA developer first because it's a easier barrier of entry

I think it's robotic processing automation. There are like 400 jobs on indeed in nyc lol

@@trainerzard7 robotic process automation. It's creating bots to automate redundancy basically. You essentially need advanced UIpath certification, projects to show, know Python, SQL, VBA and .NET
