Just wanted to comment that almost a year ago, I was in such a confused state of mind. I didn’t know what to do about a certain situation I was in. I prayed to God for clarity, and he confirmed that all I needed was to say “yes” to him and “no” to that situation. He confirmed it through other people and through this song. It popped up on my recommended and I remember feeling so so so much peace and feeling like this was my answer. I KNEW it was God. But guess what? As humans our fleshy desires win and I let it take over. I kept trying to justify my actions and making excuses and trying to second guess what God had told me. One year later, I’m definitely suffering the consequences. I realize now what God was trying to save me from. And I’m still in this situation and it’s that much harder to leave because of how deep in it I am. God isn’t saying no because he wants to deprive you of things. God wants what’s best for us. And I know he just wanted to save me from hurt and pain. I see that now. And deep down, I was accepting the consequences from the beginning by choosing not to listen. But our God is good and he redeems and doesn’t say “I told you so,” or holds things against us. I have faith he’ll have mercy to see me through. So if you need confirmation, please take this as that. During this Lenten Season I was seeking the Lord's face for an answer for a very difficult life decision...and today during my Bible time I stumbled across a chapter that I have never read before; and it definitely spoke to one of my fears in this situation...but it gave me hope. I came to KZbin to play one of my songs in my Worship playlist and this one caught my eye because I didn't recognize the name of the song and I don't recall adding it to my playlist. I hit play and began to listen to the words. Whoo Chile! Then I felt compelled to read your comment. It was literally the confirmation that I had been waiting on. You literally said, "If you need confirmation take this as that." 😂😂 That's an inside joke between me and God ...added with the fact that you said you never post but felt led to made me feel like this was just for me.
