I went to see a live eviction be filmed the one year he presented the programme and the bloke was terrible. His interactions with the crowd were cringeworthy and unfunny and he’s just annoying in general as he is on screen. He kept mixing up his cue cards and camera men had to do re shoots. Emma is a pro. They made the right choice.

He Was so bad. Emma saved that show. With him it just felt cheap and bargain basement show. Something you'd find on TV at 2pm for the stay at home parents. He nearly ended Big Brother. He's also got an ego that annoys most people.

Brians seasons (that he hosted) are my least favorite BB seasons. Aside from his terrible hosting, the editing and style of the show in those transitional years (from Channel 4 to 5) was not as good. Corny even. As for Brian: his interviewing style was atrocious. He would consistently flirt with the blokes, while being catty and pointed toward the women housemates. Nicola McLean (sp?) from CBB12 who returned for CBB19 said that she wouldn’t come back for 19 if Brian was still the host. I remember her CBB12 exit interview; Brian completely ruined Nicola’s experience by focusing on all of her negative traits and not being at all subtle about it. I think about this every time I think of how good Emma was good at her job.

Big Brother on Channel 5 needed a Davina of their own, Emma Willis fit's the bill pretty well. Brian unfortunatley was a bit bland as a presenter nothing against Brian he was a brilliant housemate and presenting skills in the past was good too, But as a viewer at the time it really was not working. Fast forward to 2017 and not watching the show at all it's hey day was with Channel 4.

His voice was too grating. He shouted to be heard over the crowd to much, and it strained his voice. He's even doing it a little during this interview. He needs to practice speaking more smoothly and less excitable.

The amazing thing about Brian is you know he won both the civilian version and the ultimate big brother, well through out his entire stay both occasions, he not only never got put up for eviction but didn't even receive a single nomination by another housemate. That's a record nobody has got near and something he should be proud of.

That's not true. Brian received 8 nominations during his first series as a housemate. Sam and Amanda (BB8) were the first housemates to go the entire series from day one to the final without receiving a single nomination.

I attended a couple of live evictions, back when Brian was hosting, and during an edition of the 2012 series there was a fleeting off-air moment which was very telling. Brian was rehearsing a few links, chatting with the crowd, when he made a little joke and pointed out the shows' big boss man, who was standing nearby. He went on to make a quip about him being the person responsible for giving him the hosting job, and this guy just pulled the most awkward smile, made a very subtle face at the gallery through one of the cameras, then held his head down and looked sheepish. Nearly everybody else, not least Brian, missed it. But I didn't. I could tell that this guy was carrying a bullet with Brian's name on it.

97channel Yeah the knives were being sharpened! 2011's winner Aaron said that when he won Brian backstage not-so-gently reminded him that HE was the Ultimate winner of BB. Since then I've wanted to see the two of them back in there in another ultimate!

I remember I was in a newsagents in Coddenham Village in Ipswich (around 2007), anyway the shopkeeper was looking at me really funny...he said he recognised me...said I looked like one of the production assistants from "Big Brother - Series 3" ...I'd no idea what he was talking about....so I bought my newspaper and some crisps and left the shop......as I walked down the road a number of locals gave me funny looks....then the clouds grew dark and soon enough I could hear thunder and the heavens opened...I looked in the reflection of a desolate shop window - with guyliner running down my eyes I could just about see the headline of the newspaper which said "REDRUM"....but then I thought...thats a mirror image...the reverse word..is....."MURDER"!!! I started to run, but I knew I couldn't escape my past...a black van pulled up alongside me - and I was bundled into the back of it...and no-ones seen or heard of me since....and I now have zero contact with the outside wor.....hold on one sec - pizza man's at me door - I'll finish the story off when I get back...

Emma was the obvious choice from the get-go, but as years taught us - C5 is not the place to go if you're looking for a well thought-out TV production. Choosing Brian to host was a very basic and ill-advised move based on the wrong idea that "they loved him as a housemate twice! Let's put him as a presenter!" - and it was doomed, of course. To be honest, I also believe Brian bit more than he could chew (it's hard with the huge temptation in the offer he got from C5). Had C5 made the sensible decision of giving Emma the main job in 2011 and letting Brian go wild in BOTS, everyone could've been happy and Brian might have even been able to sustain his job all the way up to 2018. Not only he lost his main job, he also lost his camp presenter spot on TV for Rylan (though I've found both of them very archaic and pushing too hard on the campness, in a disingenuous cartoon way, which is a shame). Though the real crime of 2013 was firing Alice Levine and Jamie East - too cynical or sophisticated (to an extent, we know things went silly at times) for C5. And what did we learn? Never give C5 (or Ben Frow) to produce any worthy TV show. #SaveBBUK

I miss Brian so much!!! Rylan is way over the Top!! So not sure why Brian would get fired for being over camp!!! He was great!!! Loved him!! Dudley Sutton this season bb19 in the USA sucks so bad I had to quit watching myself. We didn't have a castmate fired like this fella. I haven't seen any of the Big Brother franchises that are out of my country. I truly just love love love to show this season I missed several shows and just caught up later to see who was evicted. I've never done that ever. And USA they continue to bring back veterans which sucks. I can understand in all star season with past cast mates but every season they inject anywhere from two to six players. I wonder if I can find on KZbin this season so that I can see what this fella did. We are going to have the first ever Celebrity Big Brother this winner something to look forward to. But celebrities are not going to be A list obviously probably reality stars.
