My dad took me to my first Aztecs game when I was in high school. They beat Patty Mills St. Mary’s team in the NIT quarterfinals. What a long way the program has come since then. My dad passed away earlier this year but I still feel him with me when I’m watching SDSU hoops and I know he’s loving this incredible run right now ❤🖤❤️🖤 We all love Dutch. State fans have known for years he would take over for Fish and idk a person that wasn’t confident and stoked for him to take over (of course we miss the master Steve Fisher). Beyond excited for Saturday and beyond proud of this team, coaching staff, and program!

Sweet 16 run 2011. Lost to UConn & Kemba Walker. Kawhi got in foul trouble and Kemba flopped Jamaal Franklin into a technical foul so free throws and possession UConn who went on to win by 7. Man, let us win this Saturday & get some payback for 2011. Kawhi plays on Saturday then the Clippers have 3 days off. Klaw, you gotta be there on Monday. Payback.

He waited 30 years as an assistant coach to become an HC, including 18 years as SF’s assistant at SDSU. Health permitting, I think someone with the patience and dedication to wait his turn for 30 years will coach for quite a while. Only concern is a big payday being offered to lure him somewhere else. So I hope the Pac-12 happens for SDSU, which should probably double his salary.

If you know his story you know he won't leave. Waited over 20 years to be head coach and built the program from nothing with coach fisher. Nobody wanted to hire them after the Fab 5 scandal and had the position of head coach in waiting for over 5 years 😂

Wow. How do you call a time out when you can't inbound...then afterwards have your player throw the ball directly under your own basket??? For an easy turnover score....Worst coaching error of the tournament. SDSU has no chance to make final!
