And when I was a child, a dream came to me where every soul hanging low found its piece of dignity. Is this a rock ditty or a spiritual anthem? Lol both I guess, this man is a musical genius.

This was my first Brian Fallon song.... so many years ago, and all I can say is that I wish I had discovered him so much earlier in my life

Oh Brian, how I still love listening to you after these years. No matter what new music you put out, it's always so meaningful and beautiful!! I've raised my three boys on your tunes. I told them that when I leave this earth, don't cry for me. Instead celebrate my life with the music that I instilled in them. Also to remember all the wonderful moments we shared on our long drives, jamming out to all types of music. With gaslight, horrible crows and anything Brian Fallon related!! My love of music can go on and on!! I'm just so grateful that I was able to show my sons what a passion music can bring. I will forever be spinning my vinyl, tapping my feet and listening to all your rhythms. Thank you Brian, you are truly a gift and blessing. We love all the music that you have put out into this world and look forward to many, many more. Don't ever stop making music, your words serve a purpose, that is to find that perfect song that describes what you're feeling. Whatever it may be, it's there, you just need to listen and feel it!!! From your forever fan, Dannunique ❤️

Gaslight got awfully sappy there for those last records. But Im glad he's gone back to trying to be the punk rock Springsteen now that he's solo. Excited for this new one.

His sound is constantly changing now after Gaslight, but I have yet to hear a song written by him that I do not instantly fall in love with. God bless you B. Fal!
@Finarsin6 жыл бұрын
It is not even changing that much I felt Gaslight changed much more over the years and I was always skeptical and I was always wrong. He just keeps getting better. Would still like to hear an old school Gaslight record if they make another one.

I'm packing up, I've gotta move I'ma blow a fifty-foot hole through the dark clouds in our room I'm making a change I'm gon' starting today I'ma roll these dice with a song Tonight, I'm gonna whip these blues away And I'm gonna run so far they'll never find me again But I ain't leavin', I ain't leavin' 'less I'm leavin' here with you I've been patient while I waited, but I feel it's time to move You've been crying, yeah, I've seen you Honey, I've been crying too If your prayers don't get to Heaven, I'm gon' keep them safe for you If your prayers don't get to Heaven, I'm gon' keep them safe 'til they do I just wait in the cold, cold gray But I know like I've been told, yeah, mama said, "Hold onto hope" She whispers sweet, "There's a light and glory" But you gotta burn that sound of the Voices out that wanna bring you to your knees And you gotta run so far they'll never find you again But I ain't leavin', I ain't leavin' 'less I'm leavin' here with you I've been patient while I waited, but I feel it's time to move You've been crying, yeah, I've seen you Honey, I've been crying too If your prayers don't get to Heaven, I'm gon' keep them safe for you If your prayers don't get to Heaven, I'm gon' keep them safe 'til they do And when I was a child, a dream came to me Where every soul hanging low found its piece of dignity 'Til that dream gets to Heaven, you can ride this train for free 'Til that dream gets to Heaven, you can ride this train on me And we're gonna run so far they'll never find us again But I ain't leavin', I ain't leavin' 'less I'm leavin' here with you I've been patient while I waited, but I feel it's time to move You've been crying, yeah, I've seen you Honey, I've been crying too If your prayers don't get to Heaven, I'm gon' keep them safe for you If your prayers don't get to Heaven, I'm gon' keep them safe 'til they do 'Til they do 'Til they do 'Til they do

Who else can't wait until the acoustic version? I love that you get two songs in one with Brian Fallon.
@metal95356 жыл бұрын
Abigail Stricker for real? No lie it kinda bugs me lol. Instead of coming out with the next track he'll do a track, the music video for it, the acoustic, and two weeks after the acoustic he'll do another track. It's not bad it just feels like a padded release cycle...
@aesstricker6 жыл бұрын
Booker Güdkush I don't know, I always fall in love with the original and then I hear it acoustic and its like a completely different song. Like Handwritten, the acoustic version is one of the most beautiful tracks I have ever heard, damn near makes me cry, but it's entirely different than the album track. I don't know, it just never stops amazing me how a song written and performed by the same person can feel so utterly different.
@dtpiers61366 жыл бұрын
Abigail Stricker wait, are we sure we're getting acoustic tracks for EVERY song? I feel like that was a one time thing.
