Wish I could find this old video of a guy formerly in the toy business talking about Flynn: Brian has been rightfully disdained in the industry for a _looong_ time. Difficulty working coworkers, issues dealing with online retailers, and lots of budding heads and burnt bridges in regards to the factories in China. It took many years after watching that video (and me noticing the obvious) for ppl to start fully waking up with seeing how incompetent of a (business)man they are.

I am not surprised about this and it’s about time. “Bryan “ has been cutting corners of the quality of action figures with that shiny plastic instead of doing matte finish like they do on the prototypes they show. The prototypes especially for female characters always look the best and when the product is finally released they look about 70% of what the prototypes look like. If “Neca” can do this “Super7” can….no excuses.

Basically, yes he owns, but his authority is superseded by the people financing the company. so, he has to return the money (bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha, never gonna happen) or step down from the position he has. Wuper7's prices were too high, the quality was too low, the distribution was too limited, and the articulation needed to be improved to fit in with other action figure lines currently being produced. The character choices were great. The obscure characters are fun and great additions to the collection. People investing $25 are going to make sure their investment does not lose money.

Super7 TMNT Ultimates Wave 7 (Punker Don, Triceraton, Robotic Bebop, Guerrilla Gorilla, and Metalhead Michelangelo) was recently delayed yet again on BBTS. The release window is now August 2024. Wave 11 (Rat King, Battle Damaged Foot Soldier, Rapper Mike, and Ninja Nomad Leonardo) was revealed in November and still no sign of 2003. Hopefully if this news is accurate, we will see more vintage TMNT figures. In an interview, Brian Flynn says “You’re on Wave 10 about to be on Wave 11. I’m not saying it’s a law of diminishing returns always because that’s not the case but you’re 40 figures into the line and at a certain point people are like “I have enough turtles thank you”.” It sounds to me that he wants to be done with TMNT for whatever reason.

I have no personal animosity toward Brian... but he did fail badly in the quality department for sure! Take the Super 7 Green Ranger instance. How the fuck did they get the Tommy Oliver head deco all wrong? Instead the dark brown hair and Caucasian flesh tone. We got some Asian man with a ponytail as the head sculpt. And ive seen a review of the Super 7 Cobra Comander that has super glue slopped on some of his joints. And some of the figures too FOREVER to get released.

Based on your comment you didn’t watch the video. No one said they are a publicly traded company. Private investors, like the ones that invested in Super 7, can absolutely have a say in the company’s decision making process, if that was part of the investment terms. The investor could get their money back through a "down round" of financing, but it’s unlikely they would recoup their entire investment, and I’m betting Brian doesn’t want to, or can’t afford to lose those funds. This is all a rumor anyways, it’s an anonymous post from Reddit. Take it (or leave it) for what it is.
