This is awesome! I think i seen a different version on tv broadcast yesterday though. It was outstanding! Everyone did great but i especially liked the vocals of Brian especially tv version. I have been really religious for the past two years but not really that into religious music but this has gotten me feeling happy for myself and excited to try to encourage my 6 and 5 year old daughters to listen and enjoy the music also. Curtis Mayfield wrote the song in the backdrop of the civil rights movement. The year prior year in 1964 The Civil Rights Act was passed and signed into law by LBJ. But I believe because of the historical and cultural significance this song was chosen for preservation by the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. I’ll google it and see if it is in the public domain.
