I never took his work seriously. I thought he was just a B-movie actor. This video gives me a bigger introspective of who HE was/is. He basically took the Olsen twins, straight to DVD movies guy, getting checks for (and from) a particular audience. Most entertainers don’t have to reach Denzel or Tyler Perry status in order to leave their mark. Having the ability to touch audiences in a way that is memorable is a gift. Mr. Hook has an aura of wholesomeness, sincerity and love of craft that comes across on screen. As far as Soul Plane, I laughed through out that movie 🎬🎬🎬🎬
