Shay...he was singing to Shay... and then we all can copy that line pasted into our life. And say he was singing to "insert name". His mom was shone a lot and so proud.. . You are an incredible young man too. Even though this was posted a few years back, I hope you are a dab stronger now. Maya Angelou had a wonderful thought that, "when a person tells you who they are, believe them the first time." The song just leveled you. More people need to listen with their hearts versus what other other body part they're interested in at the moment. I cried when I first saw him on AGT and was devastated when he got eliminated. Wanting to see more, Brian is actually who led me to superfruit Rise cover where again he blew me away but where I also first heard angel voice (yes Mitch Grassi) and was like who is HE?? Wait, who are THEY? Who is pentatonix that reactors are commenting about? Then led to their channel who then led to PTX. I know I'm late to the game with PTX and SF but it only took me once and I was hooked on them, two straight weeks of binge watching every episode of SF and every PTX perf, leading to two weeks after THAT seeing PTX in concert in October! Been a mega fan of them and YOU since! (Bc watching them I discovered your reactions) and now look? Shay you just brought it all full circle for me and opened to a whole bloody world of obsessions! Shay, we all know you are special! ;) This was such a hard hitting performance not only because of his incredible talent (hint "Rise" with Superfruit) but because of his back story of being bullied to the point of his Mom supporting him moving out of the situation while he was in school to live with his aunt. We are all different, we are all weirdos and we all react differently. We just need to relax, be who we are, be comfortable in our own skin and learn how to be happy. Great reaction Shay!

I can't remember if you reacted to Rise, but you can pull up "Somebody to Love" I don't know if you are familiar with Adam Lambert, but he and Brian are friends and I believe they had the same vocal coach. Both come from a Broadway background thus the signature belt range and control.

BIG HUGS Shay! When you started to say you needed a pick me up I was like WTF? This isn't going to help but it's a bloody good performance that you need to see. Honestly I thought you'd already reacted to this after Superfruit "Rise" because he's in that with Mario and Mary Lambert. If you watch the WHOLE AGT piece it will tear you up even more because the interview before has him talking about being gay and bullied at a young age. It's one of the most powerful performances I've ever seen. Check out his Audition. Queen "Somebody to Love" - just as passionate and amazing, but a bit more 'upbeat' :-)
