Almost 5 years after his AGT show, this performance still makes my heart stop and takes my breath away! If you have not yet seen a version of this video with the judges' reactions, Simon and Mel gave the best I have ever heard on the show. You might want to search YT for the longer version including the judges. Geat reaction... again!

When Brian Justin Crum entered AGT I fell in love with his voice and personally feel he should have won he’s so flipping talented. When he sang I don’t belong here I agreed he should have a recording contract. Thankfully he now does! ♥️
@berlyn30145 жыл бұрын
This is my favorite version of this song. No matter how many times I hear it, I still get goosebumps. My favorite part is that golden moment of silence at the end. Everyone was so mesmerized it took a moment for it to register. He was on America's got Talent and their all star version (forgot the official name). I think he should have won both but ended up losing both of them. But wow what a performer.
@rachaelromine60245 жыл бұрын
"Didn't know whether to clap or piss my pants" ....... ditto bruh, DITTO! This is my all time favorite performance on AGT ever and always recommend it to those who have become Pentaholics. Brian is friends with Scott and Mitch and did a collab with them as "Superfruit" following the devastating massacre at Pulse nightclub. They did a cover of Katy Perry's "Rise" that is as emotionally gripping as his Creep performance. It still pisses me off that he didn't win AGT that year and loss to a child ventriloquist ..... just sad. He MORE than deserved the win! I'd also recommend his audition piece "Somebody to Love"

@@barbieme7443 Yep, your alone :) While Brian is a massive singing talent...so much emotion. Grace wrote and performed 4 originals - all amazing and mind blowing at 12 years old. Rightfully so she won. Now if Brian wrote and performed creep then maybe a 50/50 split - both win.

I came to your channel for your Queen reactions and I'm subbing because of the wonderful way you express your love of music. BJC is a master at building dynamics in a song. Almost all of us have some type of emotional pain inside - this short performance feels like he is releasing every bit of his personal pain through his voice. He did a great job on Somebody to Love for his first audition, and he recently released a song I&U that wonderful also. Thanks for your reactions!

I think that’s the first time a reaction to Brian Crum’s version of Creep made me laugh. “I didn’t know whether to clap or piss my pants” EXACTLY! I think that summed it up. The absolute raw emotion he felt and put into the song is almost like an exorcism. You feel everything and absorb it, when the song ends it’s like a rush of endorphins. Amazing.

"Creep" is what I consider one of those stand and deliver song, meaning you had BETTER stand there and sing like this song is the only thing that will save your life and mine. A lot of singers make the mistake of thinking that just because it's a big song and you can hit the notes, this makes you a good singer. Nope!! Brian delivered on EVERY level. That's what I'm talking about right there.

I love to be able to say Told ya so. LOL Haley Reinhardt's version is sung well but that sweet voice and pretty face just isn't believable for what the song is. This guy is in the LGBTQ world and has felt what this song is saying so sings it with soul. His first audition of Somebody To Love by Queen is also magnificent. What is normally a hard rock song gets performed with just a light piano accompany and he perfectly carries the rest.
