I know from recent interviews that Paul London isn't a big fan of this shoot interview or Brian Kendrick these days (look at his recent interview on Rene Dupree podcast) , seems like he's sobered up and grown older and wiser. I don't think it's the interview itself that annoys him (he's still brutally honest to this day about who he doesn't like and does) just maybe been drunk and stoned on screen annoys him. I still stand by this is a top 5 shoot interview, no matter what you think of Brian Kendrick these days. They are brutally honest when it comes to who they like and dislike. I'm not a big fan of stoner tangents but I do love these older shoot interviews where the people doing it aren't playing it safe so they can get a job back in WWE down the line. Which sadly hurt the shoot interview stuff in the last few years. It's funny cause this one of the best shoot interviews ever done but the sequel they did is one of the worst ones lol.

Jeff Hardy is a cool dude.. I've actually sat and talked with him for more than just a, "Hey what's up can I get your autograph.." He was cool, laid back, and definitely not trying to big league anyone.. The 2 coolest wrestlers I've met and actually talked too for any amount of time were Kid Kash and Jeff Hardy.. I used to go to Kid Kash's house and shoot the shit with him between 2013-2015ish.. He lived in Nashville, I work for the outskirt of Nashville water department, and saw him out one day, he found out how big of a fan I was, and literally gave me his number, I would send him links to UFC PPVs, and he'd let me come over and bug him about his wrestling career, always made me feel welcome, and never made me feel like he had somewhere better to be.. I haven't had the same amount of time with Jeff Hardy by no means, but the dude was cool as fuck.. We talked for a solid 10-15 minutes in his locker room, took pictures, and just shot the shit about life, his newborn daughter, my newborn son, highlights in his career, and just how he was doing.. GREAT FUCKING GUY.. It was in late 2010 when he just turned heel in TNA, and he was pretty much the biggest star on that particular show, hell he was the champ, right after 10-10-10 Bound For Glory.. And dudes like AJ, Roode, and a couple others were almost big leaguing people.. But not Jeff Hardy at all... BIG RESPECT!!

Thats great about Kid Kash man. I saw him recently on the Cafe de Rene podcast. He tells great stories. I loved him when I was a kid as I was a huge Kid Rock fan. But time has been kind to Kash. I always thought it'd be great to have a been and talk to him about his heyday. I understand that for years he tag teamed with Ricky Morton as The New Rock n Roll Express when Morton's original partner got pinched for something. I admire that Kash was able to catch on to the fact that he was picking up on Morton's bad habits and stopped traveling with him. Not that Morton was a bad guy, but Kash wanted to make better decisions. I respect that.

Paul has said in more recent shoots that when they were alone together Billy was cool and sweet to him; it was just when the other boys came around in the locker-room that things went sour. It's clear, at least to me, that Kidman liked London a lot (even had a crush?) and didn't want the boys to know, so he'd bury Paul or make fun of him in front of others to deflect from that.
