Kerr is a total Gobeen, its a traditional Irish song that represents Irish history, Irish sports people should be allowed sing traditional songs without fear of recriminations.

No need to apologize. They were celebrating their sporting success and celebrating with a upbeat football song, I wouldn't even call it an IRA song, 2 lines say "oh ah up the ra" which is ambiguous and not key to the song. Mountains out of a molehill. It's about as controversial as rule Britannia.
