Dr. Brian Klassen, clinical director of the Road Home Program, Rush University Medical Center, says the program's data shows that 75-80% of veterans who go through the intensive outpatient program get clinically meaningful reduction in symptoms for PTSD and depression. That said, clinician and researchers are trying additional therapies like transcranial magnetic stimulation for the 20% of patients who don't seem to benefit from the standard treatments.
