Luis Miguel is one of the most successful performers in Latino Market often compared to classy Frank Sinatra. Yet he made a comeback in 2018 after years of not producing anything & not with Pop or ballad genres etc as versatile in his singing but with classic Mariachi Music. Winning 2 Latin Grammy for album of the year & best ranchero Mariachi album. Not to mention one of the youngest to win a Grammy in his teens back in the 80s. I don't think it has nothing to do with being classy. Grammy awards go out to different genres of music. Brian McKnight is very talented, David Foster made that very clear inviting him to perform songs in his special tour with music performers songs produced for Earth wind and fire & Al Jarreau etc. conveying Brian McKnight is a triple threat. Considering he is not just a singer but a multinstrumentalist, producer etc. I've come to a conclusion considering his age that sooner or later a lifetime achievement award will be given. But I don't need the Industry or Grammy judges to dictate my music preferences or tell me who is top talent.
