Brian Molefe - Glencore Gave Ramaphosa Shares at Optimum-No Money Was Ever Found Under My Mattress

Former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe states that Faith Mangope must ask Andre de Ruyter about Eskom's mop and toilet paper prices. This is according to Molefe in an interview with the Metro FM host, where he addresses various allegations against him and asserts that Corruption Watch never had a case to declare him and other former Eskom directors as delinquent.
He also asks the interviewer Mangope if she remembers what he said at the Zondo Commission when he made the statement that Glencore gave Ramaphosa shares at Optimum; and no money was ever found under his mattress.
He provides a detailed account of the bizarre circumstances and happenings surrounding the corruption allegations linked to his tenure at Transnet. Molefe breaks down the events and defends his position against the accusations.
He also addresses and sets the record straight regarding his relationship with the Guptas. Molefe also goes on to say that the price of coal, not the cost of toilet paper and mops, was the problem at Eskom and that toilet paper was a diversion by Andre De Ruyter to hide his incompetence.

Zuma complained about the Zondo commission and asked Mr Zondo to recluse himself but was not granted his request. Now Mr Molefe says his submissions to the Zondo commission were not aired live and not considered in their recommendations. Why was Zuma's objections ignored? Why were Mr. Molefe's submissions not aired and not considered? Why was Glencore not questioned for trying to extort Eskom? Surely Mr. Molefe wanted to protect Eskom from the extortion! Why were his submissions ignored? Zondo, Glenmore, and Ramaphosa! What is the relationship among them?😢

Brian: Institute a R2 billion penalty (against Glencore) in 2017 for feeding Eskom with poor quality coal at Hendrina 2. Andre: Pays a sipplier R9.7 billion (Exxaro) for coal they did not supply, a penalty to Eskom under the so called, "take or pay" agreement. Mind you, this payment just happens to be made a montb before he resigns... no one asks questions And here we are, mainly black people, obsessed about toilette paper, not asking questions about this R9.7b... he takes R9.7b, and throws a toillete paper distraction infront of us and we fall for it... really...? I would like to ask B M how he justified the final payment on the Ingula pumped water scheme? An amount of 2 500 000 000 was claimed, the Eskom engineer on site told the management not to pay more than 800 000 000. Brian paid an amount of 2 700 000 000, 200 million more than what was asked for? Where did the extra 200 million go? Did anyone think to question him on this? The tender sum for the contract was 6 billion, but the contractor enjoyed a payment 3 times higher? The Italian contractors made a cool 100 million Euros out of fleecing Eskom. Soon afterwards they liquidated the company and the directors headed for the hills. The project was 8 years late in final delivery.
