Boxrec used to have a point system and you could see the actual difference in resumes between fighters with similar records. But they removed the points from the view about 5 or so years ago, and started putting guys that previously wasn't ranked in say their p4p, at the top of the lists. They rated Spence p4p for Brook, Porter and Garcia at a time when the narrative was a 3 division, 2 time lineal, and former undisputed champion hadn't fought anybody.

My partner was #2 in the world for two yrs and didn't have to fight because don King told him if he stepped aside he would promise him a title fight. Of course they screwed him over and made him fight a whole weight class above his weight for that title fight
