Mariah Carey is such a gift to this earth. Not just her incredible multi-octave vocal but also her insane songwriting skills and unparalleled creativity. She works her vocals like she's painting on a canvas, creating various different textures and focal points. Her recent episode on Masterclass gave me so much insight, and being the lifelong lamb that I am, I had to put my own spin on some of her magic. Mariah's catalogue is quite humongous, so it's impossible to sneak in all of the essentials but hopefully there'll be some of your jams in there as well as some fan favourites. I can't even begin to describe how lucky we are to even be alive in the same era as Mariah. I don't think I'm even coming close to the way Mariah sang this, but this is my tribute to her. Thanks! It was an insane amount of work and hours of singing but I like the outcome. Everything you hear is vocals aside from the drums. So in that sense, it's really a drumapella. Some parts of the drums are vocals as well though.

Correct, good eye! I initially had done a peach coloured screen, but the outfit and shoes were somewhat of a mismatch, so I scrapped it and just copied the pink one, then made that yellow in post-processing. In the end I prefer this one, as it is now a bit more cohesive looking and less distracting, plus the peach / terracotta was very close to my skin colour. Fun fact, the green outfit also doesn't exist. It's the blue outfit that I switched to green in post.
