Quizzy's reaction to Meg apologising for her outburst was how so many people felt after she stood up to everyone to go back on her word. There are a few Meg Episodes where they dangle a much better life in front of her and just take it away for the status quo. The treatment of Meg was one of the big reasons i stopped watching Family Guy because nothing seemed to change for the longest time and it stopped being funny for a long time

The reason Chris has blond hair: in the pilot, Lois was actually blond and the older kids had each parents hair color. When the show became a series, they changed Lois but kept Chris the same

Shrooms wasn't like that for me. I went on a couple bad trips before too, but this was way over the top. At first it feels similar to a weed high, then before you know it you start laughing for no reason, that when you know it's kicking in.

@@nalamonster963 Usually it's best to microdose, gradually eating small amounts. My last experience I was in a hotel room by myself and I ate about half 1/8 and I started freaking out because of the people in the nearby rooms being all loud, I could hear them through the walls, had to convince myself that it was just the drug making me freakout and that I was gonna be fine. I ended up putting on some Black Sabbath and I eventually calmed down and went to sleep.

Shit it is this episode. As someone who tried some stuff in the past this is a trip itself lmao. Edit: They taste horrible and make you feel kinda sick. It sucks when they play out a joke, that isn't funny to begin with, out for way to long just to get enough time. But Meg roasting her family is one of the best things ever.

I hate this episode, this is what caused me to dislike family guy. The ending is a total cop out, I felt that the writers wrote themselves into a corner and decided to be lazy about it.

Comedian Ralphie May said it best when it comes to hallucinogens': If you have any type of phobia, DON'T do them. Because that's the thing that will try and kill you whilst your tripping. That's why I only ever did weed. Shrooms and LSD? Hell no! Also, I HATE the writers for this episode. First off: when this episode originally aired, it was after the episode in which we get to meet Quagmire's sister who also deals with an abusive relationship and the writers piss poorly handled that dark theme. With the end message about how you should leave a abusive relationship and how you as family and loved ones can help being a jumbled mess all the way through. But does come down to the fact that you should leave a abusive relationship no matter what. In THIS episode Meg FINALLY stands up for herself and we see how dysfunctional the Griffins get when Meg is no longer 'the lightning rod' for their abuse. Do they use another episode to make the characters grow? have Meg become the new voice of reason in the show since Brian has turned into a hypocritical asshole? Nope, Brian opens his stupid mouth and tells/convinces Meg that she should STAY in the abusive relationship, continue taking the abuse because the family can't function otherwise. I'm sorry, but that is a TERRIBLE message to learn people. You'll never become a happy person if you hang around with people or stay in a relationship in which you get nothing but verbal and/or physical abuse. But, this is modern family guy. from the same writing staff who also told people how you should slit your wrists in case you wanna kill yourself or get attention.

The mushrooms are no where near close to what this episode shows , and allways the tv shows films serials etc , exagerates the shrooms trip to the point there is -10% (yes below 0) accuracy , the logic is frozen

Nothing like shrooms at all. Last time I ate an eighth, all I did was play Minecraft and listen to Lana del Rey. Peaking is not fun however, I felt super overwhelmed and dizzy. But other than that, a great 6-8 hours :)

I’ve always said that Brian ruined the show. Meaning that because Brian just went along with Meg after she figured she should become the “lightning rod” for the family, and didn’t do anything to stop her way of thinking, the show “resolved” itself. It regressed back to the way it was. I’ve always thought that Meg’s treatment in the show was too harsh and unfair. Even though Brian pointed out the flaw with her theory of becoming the family punching bag, he ultimately did nothing to stop her from making amends that should never have been made. Family Guy could’ve turned into a great show, or maybe even just ended after this season. Instead Seth and the creators milked it past the point of being dry, past it becoming a husk of its former self. It was mediocre at best, and now it’s becoming a bottomless pit of suffering for its viewers. Thank you very much for coming to my Ted Talk.

First time I ever saw this episode I was at my buddy Spencer's house, and we were smokin weed (we were like 15) and I walked downstairs high as shi* and this episode was on, I thought it was just a normal episode but 2 mins into watching it Brian had his trip and I swear when Stewie started talking all weird and repeating "where's the map" I thought I was legit tripping out I was way too high. I immediately called him downstairs to make sure he was seeing what I was seeing and we just watched the rest of the episode it was hilarious, and kinda trippy lol

I feel like Lois is worse than Peter as parent because, let's be honest, Peter is an idiot. He is not a smart man. I'm pretty sure that 99% of the time he is not self aware or aware of how others would feel about his actions e.g the Cleveland Brown bathtub running gag. Lois is self aware. She knows that she has the ability to hurt others yet she consistently puts down Meg. And it is actually known that Peter and Meg have a less toxic relationship whenever Lois is not around. Peter is stupid and careless with his words and actions. Lois is smart and careful with them. She chooses to be a bad mom to Meg

This episode completly mishandled the ending, it was setting up a real change to the status quoe with no more jokes about abusing meg but then she convinces herself into just going back to how things were, brian didnt do that he had two lines there more its a complete fuckup on the writers part basically glossing over the abuse meg suffers because apparently shes ok with it now
