36 million it's not that important to Kyrie he makes a ton of money off his shoes and will for the foreseeable future even after he retires. If he finds a better situation and they pay him less for one year I can see him considering it. Another 15 or 18 million after taxes in his bank account isn't going to do anything for him.

If the Kyrie situation is so "Normal" and a leverage game from both sides why can't the Ayton situation be the same? I don't think anyone is trading half their and sallery for someone who played worse than Kevon Looney in the playoffs. Ayton is worth 100-120 mill 💵 aka John Collins money. Ayton is also immature: Taking drugs at a festival and hiding it with female groth hormones. Refusing to back into game 7 because he got benched. Not even Rudy Gobert has max sallery.
