Jaylen was literally a two hour plane ride away from Dubai in Jeddah Saudi Arabia so could have easily been a replacement however he should have been on the original team over Booker and a few others. He has indicated that there is more to the story. While everyone is blaming Nike, which in part could be true, I believe the actual issue is that he wouldn’t be able to play as he couldn’t abide with the Olympic rules where you’re not allowed to do any political messages - which as we all know he does on all his shoes to cover up the Nike logos.

I really believe Derrick White ended up being the best fit for a last minute replacement. He is a plug-and-play player who is willing to assume any role to help the team win.
