Hey Brian. I’ve been watching for years. I was here when you posted your very first vlog. Today’s vlog really bothered me. I say this with all love in my heart. I have defended you and continued to rave about my love for you for all to hear. But I really think you overfed Ivy. I know you are eager for her to be massive and impressive. She’s a gorgeous animal. But you even said that she looked uncomfortable, used those very words today. I know it’s a learning experience but I really think she was overfed and the pig just really wasn’t necessary. She will grow in time without being overfed. Again I love you and I support you always, I was just a little unsettled by this today.

This is super cool, especially everything with Ivy, but I hope he gets a whole different setup for Caimen lizards. They love to dive from high branches and into deep water, which is AWESOME, but incredibly difficult to facilitate. That enclosure will need at least 6-feet of diving space, and a pool at least 4-feet-deep. Otherwise I worry that they might injure their spines if they attempt their majestic diving routines.

Hey Brian! I would be curious how viable throwing in a couple dozen Corydoras catfish would be? They have the bonus of really being able to help clean up and break down the Anacondas waste making it easier for you to syphon it off or making it small enough for your filters to handle it. And they have the added of bones of being to small for the snake to bother with and also being native to South America! Just a thought.

Periodically the snakes need a huge meal. It keeps their gut working and they need the variety of prey sources. In nature she would be eating a wild pig, capybara, one of the giant fish. So, yes, it is proper keeping to occasionally give a snake like Ivy, or Lucy, a huge meal. They have had 15#pigs before. They usually need a big feed when they come out of shed as Ivy just has.

Blake Russell They could take her home to live in their bedroom! If they have a bathroom off their bedroom, they could keep the bathtub filled and get one one those heat lamps that I've seen in fancy hotel bathrooms. They could train her to crawl over the toilet when she needs to cut loose! I think she could do it! Bruce could train her! He can train anything! He is the reptile whisperer!

Hey Brian! I've been watching your videos for over a year and I just had a little question to ask. In breeding phacilties for snakes and reptiles, most people put them in small trays I guess you could say to live in. Does it stress the animal out having a cage about the size of itself with little room to move and stretch? I'm just curious because i'm trying to learn as much as I can about animals. I plan on being an exotic animal vet when i'm older :) I hope you're doing well with everything going on. Stay safe!!

Its Tina, not Tom. I dont think I could do that foot spa, as soon as those fish touched my feet, I would reflexively kick out at them. Cant stand anything or anyone touch my feet. Kicked my husband off the bed once. (When he was alive obviously) just dont touch my feet. Those poor fish would be kicked in the air. Not my thing at all. But each to their own. See you tomorrow x

Interesting vlog! I'm sure I have seen photos of wild Anacondas floating like Ivy is now. The freshly shed Snakes are all looking amazing. There is an interesting book on Boelen's Python titled "Serpents in the Clouds" it's about the Animals in the wild and investigates how they live and what might make them easier to keep and breed in captivity.

I’m with Bruce. I think the fish spa thing is a pretty dumb idea. And the snake massage too. But to each their own I guess. They’re reptiles, not a normal pet like a cat or dog. Imo some things are too excessive towards the snakes or other reptiles. But I watch every day just for the positivity. I much prefer your normal personality on ur podcast’s or when you’re filming with Noah tho. Hope you all are doing well through all of this craziness.
