NEVER throw away a paying pair unless you have four cards to a royal. Always hold three suited cards to a royal, so keeping the 10 hearts was the right play.

some facts about Super Times Pay - The multiplier is expected 1 out of every 15 hands, you can only get the multiplier before the 5th card is dealt, you cannot get it after you select your cards. They make a DOUBLE Super Times Pay. Each multiplier has a 1 in 15 chance of coming out so you should get a multiplier every 7.5 hands and you can get both multipliers in the same hand; one before the deal and one after you select your cards. Another fun thing is if you are lucky enough to get dealt the Royal Flush, then you have a 1 in 15 chance at a 20X multiplier. If you get the first multiplier, you are guaranteed the second multiplier and both will be 10X. If you do not get the first multiplier, then you have a 1 in 15 chance at any multiplier after you hit Draw. On Video Poker, dealt Royals are automatically held. The odds of being dealt a royal are 1 in 649,740. I've only gotten one online for play money unfortunately. :(

Love watching your streams!! you played both hands with the 3 card royals correctly. you keep 3 to a royal over any non winning hand. If you get 4 to the royal you always go for it even if you already have a made flush or straight. in fact the only time you throw away any winning hand is if you are 1 card away from the royal flush. you did make one minor error that I saw when you threw away a small pair and drew to the straight. you're supposed to keep the pair not the straight draw but it's very close. if you have 4 to a flush or a non paying pair you're supposed to go for the flush because of the higher payout vs a straight. oh and the super times pay only comes out on the initial draw

I don't save the small pairs. Better off to save a high card that could pair up and actually win the hand. Saving the low cards and hoping for a 3 of a kind is crippling to your odds.

The odds really aren't much different. Save a face card, you have a 3 in 47 cards chance to pair your face card, or 6%. Save the low pair, 2 in 47 so 4% chance but you're winning 3X your bet instead of just money back🤷🏻‍♂️

Just because you're dealt Jack's or better doesn't mean it's a winning hand. Jack's or better guarantees 500 credits and you're getting 600 credits.

I think you should stick to slots. You were playing Super Times Pay poker and not Double Super Times Pay poker. You will only get a multiplier on the initial DEAL and not the DRAW. If you were playing Double super times pay, you would randomly get the multiplier on the deal and/or the draw. You played OK, but on your first hand, you ALWAYS keep 3 cards to the royal.
