Brian, you're correct! It's already pre-determined! How you know this, is on most games where a scatter pay is involved, the scatter pay is factored into the payout of the bonus. Also, once triggered the bonus is just for show, whatever RNG landed on to trigger has already determined the min-max payout of the bonus. Can you prove it? There seems to be some method to all the madness.
