I really liked this one. Made me think of the song "electric blue" in flavour. You kick that nostalgia button for sure. Lots of people try to make 80s music now, and most fall short. Something is just off. But you are one of the few that always nails it! I could definitely hear your stuff on the radio in 1985 right alongside all those other songs we love. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

I'm usually one to enjoy music without much regard for lyrics. It was different for me this time. I love how the bridge made me think differently, and by the end of the song, I felt an overwhelming sense of courage! Whether or not this was the intent, thank you for a much needed message!

Love the Tigers imagery, in the song and the graphic. Interestingly, I have part of a song I started on a while back about Tigers, inspired by a friend of mine who lost a dear zoologist friend who worked with tigers and passed away. (No, not from anything the tigers did!) "Walking with Tigers" is the working title, envisioning her walking with her tigers in the great beyond...And I think of Les Miserables, of course. "The Tigers come at night . . . " You've inspired me to revisit that song and try and finish it. Thanks. Great vibe and energy to this. Kudos! Wishing you much success with it!

Brian, what can I say without repeating myself? You are one of the most gifted singers and songwriters I know. For me, Colour Theory means intelligent and sophisticated music with 80s vibes, ingenious arrangements and inspiring melodies. (... which in many cases have the cleverness and virtuosity of a certain Mr M.L. Gore, or go beyond :-). ) Please excuse the comparison, but as someone who has been listening to and knowing DM since 1981, I allow myself to say this with full conviction. You quoted that you were told that ‘Tigers’ was a typical colour theory song, and ... ‘whatever that means’. Quite simply: IT'S A DAMN GOOD TRACK AGAIN! Period. ;-)
