Just did Carter Ledge trail in the rain on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021. It was super dangerous with the exposed rock being supremely slippery. Came down Piper, took Nickerson over to Carter Ledge again to get back to White Ledge campgrounds. The views were so dramatic with fog, clouds and thunderstorms rolling across all.

Very nice! I’m working on the 52 and the T 25 also. Last weekend went to Vermont to hike a couple high peaks there. Need to finish three more towards my Northeast 115. U have no idea lol! It comes with persistence. Hiking nearly every weekend all year round and pushing the limits constantly. Nutrition before and after our hike is super important but the most important is your pre-hike nutrition

The other thing that I forgot to mention is that you have to love hiking that much where are you desire at every second of every day to the point where you consider the mountains the love of your life. There is no better drive to kill yourself out there than to be absolutely loving it at the same time
