It's so funny because I feel that Universal allows their actors to really embrace their characters in ways I don't think Disney's actors are allowed to. I almost feel like they are better in some ways than many of the characters at Disney (the Grinch, Fiona, Donkey, and Optimus Prime are prime examples of this- like WOW!).

To be casted as a character in the Universal theme parks and in Disney's resorts the individuals have to be able to talk like several characters and resemble a character if it's a human character , the parks have a lot of key things they look for in the actors and actresses during casting to match them up with what character they will play as during work , being able to talk like the made up character is important cause they have to interact with thousands of people day after day and the voice needs to be very realistic.

1: the dinosaur didn’t move like a robot. Had a much more fluid movement to it than mechanical. 2: the donkey head freaked me out how it not only blinked but genuinely responded to him and didn’t have answers on loop like they did with mater. 3: I seriously thought max was a robot until the trainer gave him a treat after he left. I’ve never seen a dog sit so still and move so little
