What’s most impressive is that Brian never cheats. He doesn’t make the audience sing the whole chorus or back off on the hard notes. He always puts everything he’s got into the whole performance, which is why he’s still one of the most legendary frontmen ever in rock.

Looking at a lot of their songs on paper (4/4 time signatures, simple chord progressions, short riffs and straightforward bass lines) many would think that ACDC songs are easy. You would think that Billy Joel's guitar player would be able to figure out how to play 'You shook me all night long' properly.

Yes, I was a bit bummed by that myself. Not enough sparks flying there.

@@composerdave68 it's a les Paul, probably was in tune 2 mins before he played it. Isn't in same league as Angus but that's no surprise really

Brian Johnson if you're reading this back in Black was the first album I think I was 11 10 I'm sure you guys have heard this before but your music has inspired me when I was down to get up and move recently after a pretty successful life I found myself having to come back again and listening to back in Black and reaching back and hearing all the old stuff and some of the new music just totally changed my mental framework and got me to push. God bless you and Angus and the rest of the gang . It means so much. Thank you for staying true to who you guys always have been. New album is awesome too by the way 🙂 PS the new TV series it's fantastic hope you do another season

Saw them twice once with Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. So glad that I had that opportunity! Too bad Angus couldn't have been on this stage.

Even with the lower tempo this rocks and Brians vocals blossom with the added space in the measures. Well Done.

Idk how I ended up here. Not a a billy fan but I noticed how happy Bryan looks on stage. I got to appreciate the dude still performs like hes tryna impress people after 40 years and a singing these songs a gazillion times. Them little ac/dc dudes are anomalies for sure lol

I know this only a guest appearance by Brian Johnson at a Billy Joel concert. I know there is lots of guitar mistakes. Nobody will ever be able to play AC/DC songs like Angus Young. But just look at the crowd rocking to the song. Every one is singing and dancing!!!!! It just goes to show how much AC/DC is loved by anyone who loves rock and roll!

Remember, standard tuning people. Brian wasn’t even singing in standard in the ACDC concerts at this time. Sounds amazing!

If you wanna call that tuning... guitar was whack out...
@TheCatfishcheese3 жыл бұрын
What you do for money. is like a E 1/4 sharp tuning. I like that sound tho. sucks to keep tuning for every song on them old records but fun to play.
