The LC 500 is undeniably one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen. I own a 2021 LC500 red convertible, and even when I’m not driving it, I find joy in just admiring it parked in the garage. While there may be faster or more expensive cars out there, I challenge anyone to find one more beautiful. I’ve even named mine Halle Berry, since having the real Halle Berry isn’t an option!

Thanks for making a brief and to-the-point video on this car. This car's beauty will wear well for decades. I just can't get over the rear seats and the trunk space. I would prefer a two-seater with the top stowed that much farther forward to allow for a larger trunk. The C8 corvette actually seems more practical to me, though it is styled like a street corner hooker compared to the graceful LC.

Appreciate the review. The car is beautiful. As for the trackpad, ADULTS who own an LC 500 hardly ever use the trackpad. ADULTS read the OWNER'S MANUAL and learn about all the features of the car and also VOICE COMMAND. Then, the first thing they do is run MENU/SETUP and select their default personal preferences which takes care of 95% of EVERYTHING. You can go back and change your preferences as often as you like. The trackpad is mainly there so you almost never have to use it. Using VOICE COMMAND, simply press the TALK button on the left side of the steering wheel, wait for the BEEP and then TELL THE CAR WHAT YOU WANT TO DO. No trackpad involved! For instance: "press button, wait 2/10ths second for beep, say "radio", say "AM 760" and the radio goes to that station. Or, press button, "say FIND, say PIZZAHUT and you get several choices, say the CHOICE NUMBER" and your GPS will guide you there. Or say "Text John Smith and tell him I'll be ten minutes late". In the rare event where VOICE COMMAND won't do everything, such as warm the seats, you simply press the button and say "SHOW SEAT HEATER SCREEN" and you're right there to simply slide your fingers up or down a bit. So, having covered this "trackpad is garbage" subject, we can now all agree on one thing. This car sells for about one-third of what it is worth. When you consider EVERYTHING including Lexus RELIABILITY which means it will never leave you stranded by the side of the road at 2 a.m. because a cheaply made, poorly designed circuit board failed and/or if you ever needed one new wheel bearing it won't cost $750.00, as compared to many other cars costing three times the price, THIS IS THE ONE HELLUVA CAR.

First review of yours I have seen. The smile on your face, but still neutral and balanced review, says it all. What care would you compare this too? In this price bracket, I really don’t see anything else. An SL maybe? but that’s 20k more.

Thanks, Eric! The beauty of this LC is that it transcends price. I'd take this over many open tops that cost much more. 911 cabrio? Forget that. Vantage convertible? LOL, no. This LC is a proper factory special. There is so much care and attention that went into the engineering of this car that it's almost indescribable. In the long term, it'll be like the long-lost, charismatic stepbrother of the LFA that only few will recognize for its distinctiveness.

As a race driver, How do you find its cornering. I noticed that on curvy canyon roads it doesn’t instill confidence going fast on corners. I almost lost traction a couple of times , now I go slower…

Unfortunately at 4,500 lbs, it weighs more than a typical mid size SUV. Don’t need to carry around that much weight in basically 2 seater touring car.

Thanks, Doug! I’m in the F Type today, as a matter of fact, so that review will be coming shortly. Definitely comparable, these two. The Jag has attitude plus it still can be a genteel GT. The Lexus is more refined all around. The Alfa is a sedan and in that regard, I don’t consider them in the same thought. Fun car, though. There’s a review on the channel here somewhere.

You should not be driving on those Pilot Super Sport tires in near freezing Temps. I have this car and called michilin and they said 40 degrees was the limit or you risk damaging the tires or even worse wrecking. Those are ultra performance summer tires only.
