Beautiful Car but in my country the basic GLS580 starts at $250k. The moment you choose options it is easy up to $310k.

I’m so on board with the performance and how it puts its power down. I daily drive the GLS 580 myself and have the same concern, the moment you want full power the lag is dreary 😢 the transmission is completely turned for comfort even in sport mode

I agree. I have a 580 as well and the really odd thing is mine doesn’t always have that lag. Just once in a while it gets in a situation where it’s confused for a moment. Still the best car I’ve ever owned.

Nice review. Not sure if they ride the same but I have the GLE 63s and while I love the power of the engine, the ride quality is pretty rough over an imperfect road and the braking is very grabby at times. I was actually thinking of checking out the GLS 580 for more space and a better ride.
