I love how Brian, unlike many band members, has no problem giving the proper credit to Freddie. Basically saying Freddie is what made them great and famous. The band always seemed closer to each other than most bands are.

Thomas Fleig I think Freddie needed the others as well. They all wrote hits and looking at Freddie's solo albums you can see he needed them.

In a way I feel sorry for Brian. He’s one of the best and accomplished guitarists yet he always has to answer questions about Freddie. I get it but Brian deserves the spotlight just as much.

We might not think the issue of May having wanted to be the front man relevant since he has said he was happy as a backup to Freddie. Who wouldn't be? But a truly great entertainer and even greater musician no matter what. (He was not a ham either like "The Merc"was😔😜💜) May's performance at Wembley at the Olympics though showed the real power of his stage presence. Even my Mom remarked that May was obviously a sex icon. He was actually capable of holding his own as a front man after all even probably amoung the greatest. Wonder if he knew that before? Queen's story might have been different.

Dap Dne I read a quote once that Queen was made up of two excellent singers and one extraordinary one... with any other band both himself or roger could have been then frontman, I think that along with each individual band member being incredible musicians is what made them so great.. It would be good if the song 'Is this the world we created?' came back right now when the Amazonian rainforest is on fire. I think it's a great song and Queen should do something with it NOW when the whole world is realizing the effect of the world we have created. That is the sweetest comment about Twitter "...do you tweet?" I'm so pleased the band members all talk so fervently about their hero and band mate, Freddie. I love how their feet are so firmly planted on the ground. Not one of them is ego driven. Rather, they are totally unaffected and ooze with such humility. Brian May, thank you Dr. May for saving the lions from becoming trophies for jerks like Trump's evil sons.
