As a swede i love this game. So much nostalgia and old memories in this game. The game is huge and a lot to do. Best experienced in co-op with the pals. The 128kb memory were standard on the Commodore 128 that i think is a homage to that computer in the game. There are also Amiga-looking computers in the game :)

Quick tip when you craft you get schematics for that craft so if you craft ammo they’ll give you ammo schematic points which you can use to unlock more types of ammo to craft

Great vid. This game is one of my favorites. You can Definitely beat this game solo. All loot spawns back after 4 in game hours. Throw sticky flares onto enemies all enemies around will target the flare and shoot. Dog Runners target the tank on there backs one shot kill. Hopefully this turns out to be a series.

I'm a Swede, and it's soooo wierd to play a game, and have the people in it acually speak swedish. I have completed the game several times, and i still get that wierded out feeling everytime i return to it. I'm so used to every game being in english, that i'm borderlined getting uncomfortable by it. Some guy in the chat asked why there still was power on in the game even tho every one's gone. Sweden contrairly to most other countrys relie more on hydro electricity. we have a lot of dams that produce electricity, and only use a small amount of coal/oil power, even back in 89 (Where the game takes place). Now days its even more Dams and wind. and a super small amount or coal/oil and nuclear power. Tho recently there have been more talk about increasing the nuclear power in sweden, given how expensive electrical power have become, due Sweden being forced to sell electric power to the EU market "cheeply" which in turn makes it more expensive here. 3 years ago my electrisity bill was around 24$ a month, now its around 100$, and barely using any electrisity. Its a good game now the devs cleaned it up. And it have som nice easter eggs spread trough out it. Also nice as a history nut like me, to see that the devs even took the time to acually genuinly write things on the runestones in the game, and not just copy paste random runes like most other games do. (Dont remember what it was now, as i havent played the game for some months, but it was somthing about a Blacksmith)

243 is a popular hunting cartridge. It is used for deer (and some elk) hunting around here and was really popular when I was younger but doesn't seem as popular anymore. It is maybe a little small for anything bigger than a deer but hits harder than the 223/5.56 you are used to. And James Bond's gun was a Walther PPK in 380. Small caliber fun gun. You are rocking a 32, which is a dang small round to be fighting off robot dogs. 😄

Yeah, there's still some bugs after all these years. Escape to menu/restart and that cleared the invisible npc glitch for me. Thing is, at initial release, the game had ZERO npc. None. You were chasing ghosts. They added lots of content over the years but I think the engine still pines for the easy days.

Just a heads up. You seem to be doing fairly well against the "dogs" by shooting them in the head, but the tank on their backs is actually their weak spot. Not only is it a slightly larger target than the head, but it's unarmored as well. Generally it's a one shot kill depending on the weapon you're using.

Great start to things and given I've played this a lot - no spoilers, one tip, you will get into combat with BIG groups, doing a lot of run and gun is key, e.g. circling like Mechwarrior style combat, that gas grenade is a taste of what they'll throw at you, but enjoy, doing grand!

Love this game, got over 150 hours in, real addicted. Would like to hear your thoughts on the sound, I found that amazing, the mech chatter, etc. The geography is breathtaking. You are just at the tip of the iceberg. You know there's now a bot companion? The devs are amazing, they keep updating and adding content. Also, I was shocked to find a hotel populated full of people late in game after "rescuing" the location. As in I jumped when saw all these people milling around. I'm wondering if more animated people have been added that you will encounter than when I played with mostly recordings. I feel at some point this game is going to get even more interactive with more mobile people. My fix for the stuck in tent bug, drop a grenade and respawn....lol... you may get blown up with some life just out of the tent. Also, you might find the radio useful in single player - sets up more spawn points, so if going into a busy area, set up radio and respawn close by if you get killed. The houses are nearly identical but even those have shown some variety I started before a lot of big updates. I didn't see this live but was yelling "heal yourself!" at one point, lol It's hard tearing away when you think "just one more shot" will clear the field....

243 Winchester is a 308 Winchester or 7.62x51mm NATO necked down to a .243 cal/6mm bullet. I use 100grain bullets in mine and it's a flatter less recoiling counterpart to 308. Basically a 223 on steroids.

You said something In this video of the amount of RAM on one of the computers In the game, I think I had that amount for some time on one of my Commodore computers back In the late 80's. Then I upgraded to 1Mb LoL :-) You where also asking what some signs In Swedish means. You should be able to hover over any sign and get a translation to english, If not, check your ingame settings. Take good care and big greetings from Sweden. P.S I was inspired by your playthrough of this game, so I have also started one myself, I have had It for a long time In my Steam library, don't know why I haven't played It earlier. Should make it so people can dismantle droids for Motherboards to create a wide variety of Gadgets/Electrical traps. Also they could make the droids creepier in some areas like a Fat Butcher boss that's half Zombie. He could have Hook with chains in one hand that pulls people in to shoot chains before get too close and chainsaw attack to other and a large aggro range so at Night can only hear stomping and trees smashing down.

Hey bro, just sub'd and started watching your feeds - good stuff. Btw 243 Rem is a fairly common caliber that is based on the 308 (7.62x51) case. Similar would be 6.5 Creedmoor to the 308, etc. I think some hunters use it as I have come across 243 cases during reloading and sorting range brass.

I tried playing this game and the gun play was do terrible I just quit. I was playing controller, and as you move the stick, your aim didnt move didnt move didnt move FULL SPEED and you overshoot your target. Then you try back the other way and same thing happened. Didn't matter how low I put the sensitivity. Maybe I'll try again some day, but I was done with it. Took forever to get the aim point on target and took a shit ton of damage in the meantime.
