The part that really stood out to me is when Bri said, “I was made to hate so many things about myself I once loved.” Narcissists want to tear you down because your good qualities threaten their power and control over you. So proud of Bri for speaking up and not taking the $12 million! Very impressive!
@patricknorris76162 ай бұрын
Yea it’s impressive until you realize Dave paid her $10m to tell all on the podcast. Brianna is playing victim and it’s pathetic. Zach hasn’t said anything public and she claimed he was the greatest thing ever until they broke up. If she’s that easily manipulated, she needs to work on herself and stop blaming others. Anyone who supports her clearly voted for Kamala.
@jaredmello2 ай бұрын
@ how do you know Dave paid her $10 mil?
@patricknorris76162 ай бұрын
@ haha how did you not know this???? Did you actually think she was taking the “high-road” dishing intimate details of a relationship that she just got out of. Not to mention she got dumped, her feelings are hurt and she’s playing victim. A girl who allows a man to be emotionally abusive for a year and then blames him is crazy. Such a victim.
@jaredmello2 ай бұрын
@@patricknorris7616 you didn’t provide any evidence and proved you don’t understand narcissistic abuse.
@patricknorris76162 ай бұрын
@jaredmello you think way too highly of people. Why do you think she’s talking publicly on her podcast about a high profile ex and making defamatory claims? Especially since he hasn’t said anything publicly about her. Do you think she’s doing it because she wants to help women so badly and this was the only option? No, she me more likely doing it because it helps her career and is going to make her tons of money. This podcast generally only draws like 200k views per episode and this one is tracking for 5M views. That means they’re getting millions of people who don’t usually watch this show to watch, and they will most likely retain a percentage of those viewers and that will result in her making way more than $12m over the next three years. Not to mention that it is normal for big celebrities to have exes sign NDAs. I’m sure Taylor shift has had Travis kelce sign one and every woman Drake has ever dated has signed one, that is normal for celebrities worth hundreds of millions of dollars. If Brianna felt that she was emotionally abused by Zach and wanted to help other women she could have done so without defaming Zach. She in no way is taking the high road in this matter and people supporting her like she’s a hero are nonsensical. I also blame Dave for encouraging her to do this, especially when he’s profiting more off this than anyone.

@mntwinsfan1988 I think that you legit missed the whole point here. You choose money over ease of mind? Bri literally explained it perfectly: What am I going to do? Buy a house in four years and have to thank the man who completely destroyed me for the money to keep me quiet? Like truly, did you think before you commented this? Bri was somebody before Zach Bryan and she will continue to grow her career after him too. She doesn’t need his money. What this world does need is a wake up call to the type of people we make famous like him and how much they get away with. So many people have similar stories, and by having the ability to share this, it is freeing. Not everyone cares about money like you may do. I know I certainly don’t.

@victoriabarrow51662 ай бұрын
@@stephen3762your comment proves the point of the OP. Abuse isn’t just physical, it’s emotional, psychological, verbal, financial, etc and far too often people don’t know what abuse is and isn’t. I have no idea who any of these people are, but her story mirrors a lot of DV survivors including my own. Perpetrators of DV are trying to get power and control. They undermine you as a person and use brainwashing techniques including isolation, humiliation, accusation, and unpredictable attacks. I’m not saying the perpetrator necessarily planned to brainwash in their minds, but during their life, somewhere along the way they developed the ability to justify their treatment of intimate partners (shown by his inability to take responsibility for his actions in any meaningful way). No partner should undermine you as an individual, punish you when you’re doing well (aka her on tour and him breaking up), display hot and cold actions as they see fit (dumping her and crushing her hopes of a life together then taking her back then crushing her again), etc.

The way I resonated with the story so much. I left my narcissistic ex fiancé after 14 years of being together. Everything Brianna is saying is exactly what I experienced. You walk on eggshells and you bite your tongue to keep the peace but inside it feels like you’re screaming underwater. As soon as you leave that relationship, it is a breath of fresh air, and you look at everything from a fresh lens and realize that you were with a tiny man who wanted to belittle you because of his insecurities. Brianna, I applaud you so much for using your voice to uplift women who are in the exact same situation as you. Bravo. No amount of money is worth the mental turmoil.

This describes how it feels to be stuck in a manipulative toxic relationship to a t. The saddest bit is I deeply resonate with how he cut her off from her lifelong best friend and stood by him when he treated her friend like crap. One of my biggest regrets that I still get choked up thinking about for not only excusing the way he would treat my friends when he was wasted but then letting him isolate me from them and downplaying how awful he was. I’m so ashamed I stood by him and I’m so embarrassed.

It’s very admirable of Bri to be so open and vulnerable. I know people have given her a hard time about being closed off in the past, but she was clearly trying to cling to something that she felt she couldn’t lose that was slipping from her grip.
