Yeah great comment to your daughter. But strugg you getting very close to that dotted line it seems and i hoped you wont sellout like jelly has. I've listened to jell since i was 16 17 im 33 now and im very disappointed in him selling out to get a push when he didn't need that. Independent is the only way to go if you wanna have a pure soul. Not award shows with demonic rituals that jelly attends now. I hope you nor your daughter go that mainstream route. That makes you lose your authenticity.

I think he is an incredible human being and a soul so good and pure ....I completely and totally adore him. Still. But his music is different. It doesn't feel the same when I listen to it and it is absolutely devastating 😢 jellys music and lyrics and the way he pours his soul into every work of art that he touches has literally gotten me through the hardest times of my life. I STRUGGLED in hard core addiction for 10 years. I knew jelly had come out on the other side and I admired him so much. Listening to the words of his songs just hit me so hard. Like someone who REALLY knows what I am living was able to rise above, I want to be where he is. And I fought hard to be, and praise Jesus I have almost 9 years clean today. I have literally built a life back from starting over from NOTHING. I had a HUD voucher to take with me wherever I chose because I completed my treatment program. I randomly chose a city that wasn't TOO far from my family but wasn't my home town either and thats where I went. When I moved in, I had no one and no things. I had a roof over my head. No job, had lost custody of my children, not one piece of furniture, not one dish...literally NOTHING but a roof over my head. Today I have gotten my kids back THROUGH the court system, I have a dream job that I have always wanted, I have everything I need and nearly everything I want, and Jellys music and the way his lyrics touched my soul have literally carried me through the entire way. From the trenches to being able to understand now where he was coming from when he sang about being free from those demons. When I first heard Save Me, my heart shattered into a million pieces. I cried so hard that first time. Because I remember when I felt like the biggest piece of shit in the world, praying the people I love, especially my children, would not give up on me. Praying that they knew how much I loved them even if I hated myself and was full of nothing but guilt and shame over the things I had done in the past. I just wanted to hug him and hold him and cry together. Now when I hear it, it's a totally different feeling I get. When I hear it now, it registers to me as The Beginning of the End of the Jelly I knew. When that song blew up, everything changed. Do NOT get me wrong.....I am sooooo happy for him. He deserves every bit of that success, 9000%. He has BUSTED HIS ASS to get where he is and I am SO thankful it is finally paying off. He deserves to be praised for the amazing, talented, soul touching artist that he is. But his music is truly different and......I just cannot explain how that makes me feel. So bittersweet. I am so happy and know he deserves it on one hand....but on the other, I have literally heard him say that when he is putting a song together now, he is thinking of what the PEOPLE want to hear. And I totally agree with that. That exact thing is coming of in his music. Instead of just writing whatever the fuck he feels like and not caring what other people think, it seems like he is just focused on coming up with the next #1 hit. And I can understand why he is doing it. Fame, success, and dollar signs were the ultimate goal I guess. But I didn't want him to have to change a THING to get it. And it is obvious that things have drastically changed. So while I am happy for him, I miss the real old school raw Jelly. I am cheering with him, for him, and mourning him at the same time. It is such a weird, sad feeling.

Brianna, this song touched my soul!!! Your voice is Angelic!!! Your talent for songwriting is Unbelievably Amazing!!! I can tell you from my own experiences that crying tears over a man was time wasted. I say this because I know what true heartbreak is, and that is burying my child. My heart is forever broken. However, I was given 18 BLESSED and WONDERFUL years to enjoy my son. My son posted something not long before he died. He said " Live and Enjoy, cuz life's too short not to." Your words in the song about time, if you knew it would be harder, doing it again and don't wait to start living until the end. Those words are some of the truest I've ever heard in a song. It has been 14 years since my son died, and I have finally given myself permission to laugh without always feeling guilty. I know everyone's heartbreaks are different. Hey love... Just wanted to reach out cause I know the feeling all too well of being lost in the vastness of darkness feeling like I can't find the light switch... It wasn't until I realized I was the light switch & that nothing that anyone did or said could make the darkness turn into light until I stumbled upon it within... It's easier said than done... With patience & persistence, you can become the best version of you... You can't change the world or anyone for that matter, only your outlook of it... Also, "Man's search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl.... My 3rd suggestion is "The Four Agreements" by Don Luis Miguel... All of these very affordable on Amazon... There is something about reading versus listening that it soaks in & you really feel the words to a depth that is needed...
