Cleaning out bath toys!

We don't do squirting toys for this reason. We put a dab of hot glue on the opening so water doesn't get in and they're good with an outside wash 🙂

The penguin you can’t squish because it has mold in it. If you take a wooden toothpick and poke it, then it’ll be able to work because that’s what happened when I had them.

The bath toys are a year old so I was throwing them away anyways. Squeezable toys are not forever toys because they’re a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. I cut them open just for fun to see how much mold was in them but no matter what I was throwing them away because it was time to replace them.

You could try soaking his favourites in a solution that is one part chlorine bleach to nine parts water overnight (then rinse thoroughly with just water) Obviously getting the solution right inside the toys to disinfect bacteria & mould. Another great thing to use is that Milton sterilising solution/tablets for bottles etc but it's pretty expensive. The bleach & water thing is supposed to be just as effective.

When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Dear Child, I agree that if a child is well behaved then parents shouldn’t get rid of all their toys. Even if a child is not well behaved, parents shouldn’t do that. But decluttering when a child has an overwhelming amount of toys has been shown to be greatly beneficial to the child. With too many toys, children are more likely to get overwhelmed or distracted and less likely to actually play with those toys. Another big part of this video is checking these toys are still safe for this child toy play with. As long as my children are enjoying playing with a toy and it’s in a safe condition, I will not get rid of that toy. Most of the moms in these types of videos feel the same way. This applies to everything else on your list too. Decluttering is not a bad thing at all. Respectfully, Elise

A hack that I did for my kids bath toys is when I first get the toys before they can mold and stuff i hot glue all the holes water can get in so it can’t mold

You can give all the toys a wash in bleach water. Squeeze water into, & out of the toys. The bleach will kill off anything bad, & a few rinse swueezes will solve it all.
