I was playing a game and this song came on and I listened then stopped my game and listened again. This struck a cord so hard. I needed this. I understand this life.. I was the sad little girl that loved her daddy so much.. I became a teen and ran wild and ended up in facilities until I was 16 then got out and went to foster care. I finally got to go home at 17 then bounced when I was almost 18 and been doing my own thing since. I am 34 years old with 3 beautiful children and 3 bonus kiddos and a wonderful husband that lived this life as well. We are both sober and make the best choices because our children see us.. we know because we know how much we seen from our parents growing up. Breaking the cycle is essential and it starts with us. Don't think that at least once a day that I don't think about the "outlaw shit".. but I have to center myself and keep my feet on the ground. It's a part of who I am but I'll be damned if it's a part of my children because of their parents. ❤❤ Thank you for this song. ❤❤

I can't get over the talent in that blood line. And how much Brianna looks and sounds like her great grandma. I was a very sad 6 year old little girl that unfortunately had a pedophile for my nanny for about 7 years. My uncle came back from boor camp when I was 7 years old and handed me my first cassette tape and my first experience of escaping into the music for healing and happiness. That cassette tape that saved my little soul and still does till this day is, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson's greatest hits. I can't even begin to explain what your great grandfathers music did for my little soul back then. But I can say that you have the same gift and your blues like tone and style will continue to heal this old soul. Thank you.

Thank you for never giving up on your father. As a father myself this song definitely hit me hard, back in 2017, I found out I had a kid on the way. My mind and actions caused me to miss the birth of my daughter do to addiction and being in and out of jail. I regret it every day of my life. But times change and people change, not always for the better but thankfully I changed for the better. I've been sober now for 2 years now, my relationship with my daughters mother is fantastic, my daughter loves coming to my house. If it wasn't for me realizing I have a individual who idolizes me and looks up to me, I probably wouldn't be here right now... father's carry alot of weight on their shoulders, but we do what we have to do to give our children everything us parents never had. Much respect to you Brianna harness
