Thanks for the great video. The ACS website instructions were terrible. I wasted an hour trying to watch and rewatch those videos and read their paper instructions. Your video was spot on and I was able to install it in about 30- 45 minutes. Thanks!

When you drill metal slow your rpm's way down with steady pressure and a little light weight oil. This will keep the heat down and actually speed up the process.

Hey guys, we’ll have a whole video later this week showing it in action. It works like a wonder on the MultiForce, more to come! QUICK SUGGESTION! Before you install your blocker, watch this video at least once ALL THE WAY THROUGH! It will really help you understand the install process, and then go back through and skip around if you get stuck on a phase of the install. Hope this helps!

Hey brotha, that red plate you took off with the bagger pulley isn't supposed to be removed. That's a standard plate that's on all Turbo Force decks and helps with the aerodynamics of getting the grass out of the last chamber of the deck.

I installed one this summer and really like it. Cut plenty off the handle and sides then welded it to the top of deck. Used weld through primer, harbor freight easy flux 125, harbor freight cut-off wheels, heavy duty angle grinder and red krylon that matches perfectly. Used it in down position today mulching up leaves and then striped yard with it up.

The advanced chute is one of the best designed chute blockers on the market. It’s always nice to have one on your zero turn, because you can control it easier.

Love Ballard products but for chute blockers, I’ve found the Grass Flap is the best option for us. Quick tap of the pedal and you get to keep your hands on the sticks, plus no handle to get snagged on limbs or heavy shrubs. Only downside is that it’s a little more expensive.

Great video Brain, I wish Ballard would make a foot operating chute blocker I just don’t like having that handle to get caught on tree limbs and that it doesn’t open 180 degrees to get through fence gates and other tight spaces.
@campoffthemap83073 жыл бұрын
Right? Love all their other products but I run all Grass Flaps because it’s faster to tap it with my foot and keep both hands on the sticks - plus I don’t have to worry about it snagging on stuff (already get my face caught enough stuff).

@@BriansLawnMaintenance did you reinstall the piece you removed? It's to keep the clippings from being recycled within the deck and helps to "force" the grass out of the deck. I'm curious because Randy removes all of his.

I felt the same way for a long tine, but tbh it wasn’t really a big deal, and looking back on it, there isn’t any real concern. I’m happy to have this blocker on here and compared to other units out there, it’s a small price to pay for a really good option for a chute blocker that works

Bad Boys mowers makes the advanced chute system I thought. Ballard just sells them in his website. Ballard blades on the other hand his company does make. And as far as living somewhere there is a lot of sand like here in Florida.... I have used all kinds of blades and I tried the Ballards at double the cost of most other blades and I learned that they do NOT like sand at all. In fact they last not even through 10 yards before the sand blasted them so much... The fin separated from the rest of the blade on all 3. Any other blade I've ever used last wayyyyyyyyy longer. Absolute crap product.

Thanks for the feedback. Try the laser edge blades, those seem to do well with sandy soil conditions. Have you tried them?
