In my band it's the opposite although there is only a couple of Altos in my group our director has the trumpets do meledeys a lot and theres only 1 tenor but I'm going to switch next year

Hurrah! What a wonderful performance! Dear couple I wish you all the best to perform better and better in more and more pieces like this. At some parts where both of you simultaneously play it gives the effect of playing dual melody on either foot-pumped harmonium (reed organ) or accordion with free bass system. At some parts where both of you alternatively play (alto saxophone is played and tenor saxophone is silent and tenor saxophone is played and alto saxophone is silent) the voices of both alto and tenor saxophones are clearly understandable. I love saxophone duet for both of the effects.
