I can testify about how he customizes/personalizes each boot he makes. In the middle of the build of my LaceToToes (Monkey Boots), I began to form a bunion on my left foot. I called Brian regarding this, and he arranged my foot to be measured again. He made adjustments and when my boots were done, they fit perfectly... no issues at all. BIG UPs on the new content and give thanks for using the same sound bed, songs you've chosen goes perfect with the visuals!

Brian, this is not the horses butt! Cordovan is a membrane which sits underneath the exterior leather. It allows the horse to have a twitch reflex that enable the animal to shoo he flies away. Cordovan has different properties than a leather boot, and should be treated with products that are made specifically designed to work with this membrane. Now, you are the magician who takes this precious and rare material and makes a beautiful pair of boots. Good luck my friend!!!

@-IE_it_yourself Жыл бұрын
nooo, please no steel toe cap, please. not all work involves dropping stuff on your toes. as an option it is great, but as a default (like on most cheap 10hole boots) it makes a decent boot into an unnecessary pressure point.

As with a lot of items, pricing and availability factor in. Pricing is not everything. Some things are worth more. But availability matters. A lot of people, myself included, do not have the patience to wait. This is why I do not have a customized car from the factory, where you pick all the options, and wait until the "central office production order" is filled.

Hundreds can. The problem is the market for $2500+++ hand made shell cordovan boots is pretty small. Not saying it’s not worth it but it’s definitely niche.
@Gustav555 Жыл бұрын
Niche market and it needs to be your day job if you're going to do it all by hand.

@@BradyBegeman Is that the real price for this pair of boots? I was expecting something like $1,500
@BradyBegeman Жыл бұрын
@@papayafigure it’s custom so I’m not exactly sure, but my understanding is $1500-2000 for a pair of boots using a more common cowhide leather (like chromexcel). For shell, he’s got to be near $1000 in raw material alone.
