Even the big companies are now feeling it being fully boycotted in more recent years when supporting Republicans even if the person is not in the MAGA or Freedom Caucus and are not supporting the MAGA or Freedom Caucus finally. The companies have to be 100% neutral not angering either side until the Republican party is squashed, some groups have seen the issue trying to support groups of people who are not mainstream and get losses from the far right wings of the Republican Party. I worked in the auto industry at an assembly plant. When there was a Republican administration in office, I was continuously laid off for sometimes 6 months at a time. For many reasons, but Politically speaking, let's hope that the potential Dock Workers Strike, scheduled to begin on Oct. 1st does not happen. The Biden Administration is working diligently to do what it can to avert the Strike. The Administration has acknowledged that if there is a Strike it will significantly affect Supply Chains and cause price increases by mid October. The current "trending well" Economy will take a hit, just before the Election if the Dock Workers Strike. This is likely the only Economic-related "October Surprise" that could hurt V.P. Harris.

I personally never understood the appeal of a business-person as President. They are very different roles with very different rules and such people don't always have the best track records. I just see such an idea of another example of how American culture tends to glorify the rich and put them on a pedestal. As for Trump's tariff scheme, I respectfully think that you're giving Trump too much credit by suggesting he doesn't understand how they work even after his last attempt. I find it more likely that Trump knows how they work and who they'll hurt but he doesn't care because that's part of his goal. He probably only talks to his audience as though he doesn't understand how they work because he's lying to them as usual.

If tariffs are deemed unfair or undesirable by a country that exports goods to the United States, that country will impose tariffs on U.S. products imported into that country. This is basic stuff.

How did Trump lose a casino, I only seen casino's closing for good during Covid-19. He closed his way before Covid. I recently went to Vegas last fall in 2023 and all the ones on the Strip were making bank. They were all crowded. In fact, some of the casinos gave their workers huge Christmas bonus's some were up to $5000.00 in 2023. That is excellent! now that's how you treat your workers giving them the slice of the pie. Trump ate it all and look what happened.
