I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia and our minimum wage is $17.1.40 per hour. Yes we have higher taxes and like any country there are difficulties. But quite frankly we also have many benefits that your country doesn't. Health, dental, prescriptions and daycare assistance. Infrastructure, law and order and a general healthier lifestyle.
