Very sorry for your loss guys I dont get how people can think Zenon is stronger than Dante because of him taking yami. Its a surprise attack against a tired yami who literally doesnt have his only weapon. Dante is unkillable and was just beat by probably the only two characters in the entire series who could beat him. Asta and Yami would slap up zenon in a fair fight in all honesty, i mean theyre the main characters. Also its a triad, all three are at generally the same level, but Dante's narcissim (Dark Triad Traits are a thing from psychology that the characters are based on) leads to him wanting to be the leader, and Zenon's pschopathy leads to him not caring about position as long as the job gets done. And Vanica is machiavellianism, in that she uses people to get what she wants (blowing up her dark disciples when she was done with them, taking loro just so neolle can get stronger).

1st release of anime: viewers hate the male character, saying similar to some anime because power of friendship and talk no jutsu, nearly canceled anime just to have 52 episodes because of lack of support and might only continue on manga, animation sucks.... End of anime: became popular because of great story telling, great character build up, great world building YAMI'S THE GREATEST and FAVORITE MENTOR/CHARACTER, great OP and ED...became #1 on TikTok, good Plot Twists, sold more than million copies... and upcoming MOVIE... so yeah... to sum it up, viewers loved the series, and therefore people support it... haters can't say anything now even if they continue to hate or destroy this anime...
