Thank you all for leaving such nice/empathetic comments! :’) I was fully expecting majority negative ones (due to the unfortunate nature of KZbin), so it’s comforting to know I wasn’t the only one to react this way! I have some things to say after reading all the comments: 1.) To the people who say I’m “overreacting” or “fake”: I’m pretty genuine in everything I do, so strangers trying to tell me I’m faking is a trip, lol. (Although, slightly insulting that you think my actual pain isn’t real… lol) Everyone reacts and absorbs information differently. Just because you might have sat there stunned and done nothing, doesn’t mean there weren’t thousands of other people who reacted similar to the way I did. That’s why we post reaction videos in this fandom. Catharsis. And sense of community! 2.) To the people who insist “We all knew it was Glenn and Abe! Glenn dies in the comics. Why are you so shocked and emotional?! You had months to prepare and accept it.” - Do you have no heart? Seeing a beloved character go out in such a gruesome and violent way on screen, is far more traumatic and devastating than reading it as drawings in a few panels on a page (no offense, comic fans!) or “knowing” before hand. I thought I was prepared, but to actually SEE it be confirmed with my own eyes was pretty rough. 3.) And finally, to all of the “GOD DAMN! It’s just a TV show! It’s not real! You need to get out more. Calm tf down! Loser!! Pathetic!1!! haha” people. - Yeah, you fools. Everyone knows TWD ain’t real. That doesn’t mean that people can’t watch faithfully every week and become invested in the stories and characters over the course of 7 years. Dang. Why do you think TV shows, movies, and books exist in the first place?! Yeah, they’re all “just stories” but the goal is to entertain, and make you feel something! This show is a character study at its core. So, to see these characters die in such a way is very, very sad. Especially an OG like Glenn. If you can’t respect other people’s reactions.. just keep it to yourself. We all do this once every Sunday. That’s it. Let us have that! We all have lives outside of TWD, trust me. It’s not your place to tell us we’re lowlifes for feeling a certain way.

Like you said, everyone reacts a different way, everyone is saying that the episode was violent and snarly, in way yes but that's the way the series has been since day one, that I think that the people are complaining because it happen to them, to Abe and Glenn, specially, Glenn die to the fact that he has been from season one, Abe did die defying Negan, eventually, he did died risking it, to me this episode was the most emotional of them all

I think I read somewhere that Steven Yeun was on set during the making of episode 4. during this time, both Yeun and reedus took off on their motorcycles and came upon an accident that had happened. it was said they helped out and then afterwards went back to the set together. Maybe he was just visiting but he was there.

I actually preferred Michonne when she was dark and disturbed - now she's just Rick's love interest, and we all know where you go from Rick's bed. @Authur Watts.... lol not even. Michonne has definitely taken over the role of Comic Andrea, which means they are long term. She's not dying anytime soon. She and Rick are gonna be the King and Queen of Alexandria. Just because a woman gets with a man doesn't mean she's automatically reduced to nothing but his love interest. Andrew Lincoln has already said Michonne is going to be instrumental in keeping Rick sane, strong and on track. Michonne is still a BA. The episode in Season 6 "Knots Untie" highlighted their power-couple dynamic perfectly! It's awesome. Not to mention refreshing to see a different side of Michonne. She deserves love and happiness too, ya know!!

I have been an avid Glenn lover since he saved Rick in the tank, and have been expecting this, but I was still in hysterics when it happened. Original characters are going to have to go now and that's just life, but when you've been so emotionally invested in a tv show since the start it's hard to deal with something as extreme as a death like Glenn and Abrahams. I feel like it would have been a lot easier to take had they been attacked by walkers protecting everyone because that's the type of people they where. This is something I'll never forget.

The dinner scene was the one that broke me. "Bet you thought you were all gonna grow old together." Negan stole their future. Glenn will never hold his child. Abraham and Sasha will never make one. How many people have rick and his people killed? The people that they've killed also had their own people, and I bet they see rick and his people as bad guys for killing one of their own. This episode broke my heart and I honestly don't think the walking dead will ever be the same. I just hope the group can rise up again and take down Negan and all of his people.

Something about this episode felt very "real." From the visuals to the acting. It was easy to get a little lost in it/picture yourself there. TWD has a way of ignoring other characters and I hate it....... watching the seasons over again I've come to realize that Carol got a lot of attention and character development. while Sasha, Rosita, Tara and sometimes Michonne are left behind. That's what they did to Abe it's as if he wasn't important to the group. Glenn got the spot light which is fine but don't ignore another family member and I think they swept Abe under the rug.

Because "we ARE the walking dead"... People are far more dangerous and evil than walkers could ever be. Especially when it comes to survival. Someone has a safe haven and you want it so your group can be safe... What do you do? (Govornor era) Or in the case of Negan, at least in the show's canon, Rick preemptively attacked Negan's men to prevent them from taking half of all the towns supplies. In the end, he paid for underestimating how big Negan's group actually was. Negan's group needs supplies just as Rick's group does. Just so happens that Negan isn't afraid to take them from someone else. Hope that helps at least a little.

Season 5 was excellent season so I don't feel to bad. What episode are you on? Episodes 1-3 are FANTASTIC with Episode 1 being a top five episode for me and episode 3 being top 10.
